Angus Deayton supports The Official 1966 World Cup Song

09 05 2016

Comedians including Angus Deayton, Hugh Dennis, Rory McGrath, Omid Djalili, and writer David Quantick have teamed up to mark the 50th anniversary of England winning the football World Cup in 1966 by creating The Official 1966 World Cup Song.

The song, masterminded by executive producer Paul Carey and produced by composer and writer Phil Pope, has launched a PledgeMusic campaign to cover the production and marketing expenses, and a percentage of the profits will support the grassroots football charity Street League.
